The Greenman Backpackers Hostel is situated in Beaufort Square, Chepstow in the heart of our peaceful Market Town. It is accessed from the Square itself or from the Main Car Park off Welsh Street and is a five minute walk from the Bus and Railway Stations with their convenient links to Bristol, Cardiff and Cheltenham.

The hostel is the perfect base for exploring Historic Chepstow (950 years old in 2017) and the famous Wye Valley. It’s also ideal for walkers beginning or completing the exceptional Wye Valley Walk, Offa’s Dyke Path, Wales Coast Path, Gloucester Way and others. We also host many cyclists on the lands end to john o’groats route.

Short Over-Night Stay | 5 out of 5

We stayed here for 1 night and I honestly wish we could of stayed longer. The room was beautiful very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bar downstairs was busy and a really good welcoming atmosphere. There was a large selection of gins to try as well. The kitchen for the breakfast is clean and well maintained there’s a selection of things to eat. Mike and ness are very welcoming will definitely be staying again.
