Here at the Greenman Backpackers Hostel we are proud of the standard of the accommodation we offer. We believe our rooms and facilities are second to none of their type and our Chepstow accommodation reviews back up that belief.

Our family rooms, luxury ensuite rooms and bunkhouse rooms have all been finished to an impressively high standard. We will do anything possible to make our guests stay a most comfortable, pleasant, informative and memorable one.

Short stay for walking festival | 5 out of 5

Fantastic hostel,great location and great bar. The owners made my husband and myself very welcome.Our room,double with bathroom was excellent and great kitchen well equipped for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again, had a great weekend and the walking was great too.

What a fabulous hostel. So friendly, clean and well equipped. Rooms were spotless, there was a huge communal kitchen with breakfast ingredients available. The bar was welcoming and cheap. Highly recommend this place as a stopover or a base to explore.

Running or Walking the Offas Dyke :-)

We just had a short stay but were made more than welcome. The Greenman team could have gone anymore out of their way to accommodate us 4 runners. The place has everything you need and more. Will definitely be recommending the Greenman as the place to stay if you are attempting to run or walk the Offas Dyke Path.

A Brilliant & Essential Resource | 5 out of 5

A brilliant, essential resource for Chepstow right in the heart of the town. Great welcome on arrival, informal, friendly and homley. Rooms are extremely clean, practical and robust, with lovely warm bedrooms, partner and I slept great. There is a huge shared lounge and kitchen for communal use and of course the bar which is worth staying for on its own.

Short Over-Night Stay | 5 out of 5

We stayed here for 1 night and I honestly wish we could of stayed longer. The room was beautiful very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bar downstairs was busy and a really good welcoming atmosphere. There was a large selection of gins to try as well. The kitchen for the breakfast is clean and well maintained there’s a selection of things to eat. Mike and ness are very welcoming will definitely be staying again.

Seriously, and advertising references from the tv aside, this is a brilliant place: well- organised and managed; spotlessly clean and nice friendly hosts.
